“It goes too fast…” ~{Miami Baby Photographer}~

“It goes too fast.”

If you are a parent, chances are you have uttered that phrase. It’s your standard parental mantra, I suppose. And while it may be a cliche, it’s also true – you’re nodding your head as you read this, aren’t you? It’s precisely how I feel looking at these photos of my baby girl.  Here I sit, 8.5 months after she was born, and it seems as though no sooner did I blink an eye than she became the child you see here – sitting up, smiling that sweet smile, poised to crawl away (and she did just that several times!)  I get teary-eyed seeing these images – partly because I’m sad to think of her as something other than my teeny newborn, and partly because I’m so thrilled to see her become this wonderful, curious, happy baby.

I’m so glad I finally took some recent photos of her so that I can freeze her in time right here, right now where she is at this moment. If you are a parent out there reading, and you haven’t frozen your kids in time lately, you should call me and set up a session. Because trust me, you guys – it goes too fast.

She’s still my little ginger baby!

Those cheeks. Do you die? Because I die. ♥

She’s got four teeth down there. You can’t see it, but there are also four more up on top!

I had to include some baby belly shots – who doesn’t love a floofy-soft baby tummy?!

Such a beautiful baby! How is it possible that your sweet little newborn is already this big??? I love her sweet baby smile.
